Who opens your machine.

SoCal Coffee Repair is a one-crew field operation run by Roman Abysov — 12+ years on espresso equipment, from kitchen-counter super-automatics to three-group cafe machines.

The company

SoCal Coffee Repair is a DBA of Roman HVAC 777 LLC. The owner is the technician: the person who answers the diagnostic questions on the phone is the person who shows up with the tool bag. No call center, no subcontractors, no hand-offs.

Licenses on file

  • Appliance repair — California Bureau of Household Goods and Services, license #A49573
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification #1346255700410 — refrigerant systems on hospitality equipment
  • Fully insured for on-site work in homes and commercial kitchens

How a visit works

Every job starts with a $145 diagnostic visit. You get a written diagnosis — what failed, what it costs to fix, and whether the repair is worth it against the machine's age and market value. If the work proceeds, the $145 credits toward the repair. If the honest answer is "replace it", that is what the paper says.

Most diagnostics take 45–90 minutes. Common parts ride on the truck; anything ordered comes with a date, not a shrug.

Why coffee only

A general appliance tech sees an espresso machine twice a year and guesses. Twelve-plus years on coffee equipment means the failure patterns are familiar before the panels come off — which gaskets flatten at year three, which boards drop when the voltage sags, which "broken" machines are a settings reset. That is the whole difference: pattern recognition you only get from volume on one category of machine. Espresso machines and coffee brewers are what we do — 28 brands, six service lines, 25 cities.
